ROE #17 is the entity that provides educational services to students while detained at Mclean County Juvenile Detention Center. ROE #17 provides licensed teachers, with individualized and differentiated instruction in an effort to encourage a renewed interest in education.
All students served by ROE #17 through JDC are evaluated to determine their academic needs and staff work closely with the students' homeschool to support each students' success.
During the 2020-2021 School Year the total number of students served through JDC was 100, and 78 were unique enrollments. The average number of days students received educational services through JDC was 11.
