Ryan Deason
Ryan Deason has served as a Transition Specialist at the Regional Office of Education #17 since 2018. Along with Marie Yoder and Emily Kull, Ryan manages the STEP program and assists students with making connections to resources in their community, specifically with the Division of Rehabilitation Services. Ryan and the team strive to make the transition process less overwhelming for students and families. Prior to his time with ROE #17, Ryan worked with the Transition Team at the Livingston County Special Services Unit. While at LCSSU, Ryan assisted students in developing vocational skills and achieving community work experience. Ryan obtained his Bachelor’s in English at Middle Tennessee State University. During his time in school, Ryan completed an internship in Marketing and Public Relations at a local area hospital.
