Meet the Staff

Kayla Arnolts grew up in McLean, Illinois, and attended Olympia schools. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, and worked for two Illinois State Senators—including their political campaigns—and in grassroots roles for two local insurance companies. Kayla joined the Regional Office of Education #17 in 2022 to support housing grants and expanded her role as the Regional Homeless Liaison to include truancy, attendance, and mental health instruction. Kayla lives in Downs, Illinois, with her husband and son.
