Molly is a native of Central Illinois. Molly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary’s College. In conjunction with Americorps and the University of Notre Dame, Molly taught high school English and Religion in Memphis, TN as part of the ACE program. After earning her Masters of Education degree from the University of Notre Dame, she returned to Central IL and taught high school Language Arts. She then became a Redbird and earned her Masters of Educational Administration at Illinois State University. Next, Molly served as an assistant principal. In 2012, Molly became an elementary principal. Molly joined the Regional Office of Education #17 in 2018 to coordinate TEAM Lead to improve principal instructional leadership. In 2020, Molly became the Assistant Regional Superintendent of Schools. She holds a professional educator license with endorsements in English, Secondary Education, General Administration, Chief School Business Official, and Superintendent. Molly has continued her education at Illinois State University and is currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Administration. Molly serves as co-chair of the Professional Learning Committee for IARSS and works closely with the Illinois State Literacy Plan. Molly volunteers on the FIRE Board, the Education Commission at Corpus Christi, and as a religious education teacher at Most Holy Eucharist Parish. Molly is secretary of the Children’s Discovery Museum Foundation Board and a member of the Executive Committee for the Saint Mary’s College Alumnae Association Board of Directors. Molly and her husband reside in Lexington, IL, and have 3 children.
