McLean County Juvenile Detention Center (JDC)

ROE # 17 is the entity that provides educational services to students while detained at Mclean County Juvenile Detention Center.  ROE # 17 provides licensed teachers, individualized and differentiated instruction with an effort to encourage a renewed interest in education.  

All students served by ROE # 17 through JDC are evaluated to determine their academic needs and staff work closely with the students' homeschool to support each students' success.


During the 2015-2016 School Year the total number of students served though JDC was 216.  The average number of days students received educational services through JDC was 11.
