General Education Development (G.E.D.)
The General Educational Development Testing Program offers you an opportunity to earn a GED high school diploma. Many people who did not finish high school have knowledge and skills comparable to people who did graduate. This idea is the basis of the GED Testing Program. The GED Test asks questions about subjects covered in high school. The GED Tests are given in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. territories, most Canadian provinces, and the Canadian territories. Each year, about one-half million people earn their GED Diplomas, which they use to get jobs, earn promotions, or qualify for higher education and training.
All GED tests are taken on the computer since January 1, 2014. Once you have successfully completed your GED tests and met all requirements, you can request a copy of your diploma and/or your transcripts from ROE # 17. Please use the following form in order to request either or both of these documents, but allow at least 7 business days to process.
* Begining March 1, 2016, past test- takers (test taken between1/1/2014 - present) who previosuly scored between 145-149 on any subset will now have passed, and will be contacted by GEDTS via email. You will still need proof that you passed the US Constitution.
